Mondi i laman is located on Curaçao. Curaçao is the biggest island of the Netherlands Antilles, situated in the Caribbean, near Venezuela

Because Curaçao is situated near to the equator the temperature is almost the same the whole year round, about 30^o C. Although this seems hot, the almost always blowing trade wind provides a fine cooling breeze.
The climate is very dry an the surface is rocky which of course influences nature life a lot. Cactus are found everywhere. In the remote areas you can find iguana's and many colorful birds. The former salt winning plantations are an ideal residential area for the pink flamingos. 

Curaçao is an island in the Caribbean Sea, with beautiful clear blue water, and lots of tropical fish. It can be considered one of the most beautiful dive and snorkel areas in the world.
